I enjoyed your great video. We are a hot tapping machine manufacturer. There are 15A ~ 1200A types depending on the bore diameter. If you are interested, please visit us.
Definitely will try the sand table on a smaller scale...and I'm ❤❤❤ the music! ❤
Awesome! The sand tables really do make a huge difference in our short growing season! Happy growing!!!
Neat trick. I remember doing it by heating the stainless steel barbed part first.
Hot potato! Did you wear welding gloves to make the final connection?
I would like to let the people know that our building they are tiny homes to make sure that you level your trailer before building a lot of tiny home build don’t tell you this, but if you do not have your trailer frame sitting level when you build your walls and stuffit is not going to be level so make sure your trailer is level before you start building your tiny home
Thanks bud! Good tip!
And for the guy that’s making this tiny home if your axles are not flipped, I would recommend flipping your axles because then you wouldn’t need to weld any bump stops on because basically you would be lifting your ride hide up by at least 2 inches just food for thought and it will help you be able to move your tiny home wherever you wantthen it wouldn’t bottom out in certain spots
Nice!
For your water heater or whatever it is, that has the tailpipe going out through the wall and straight up just a pre-warning if you do not have a cap over the top of the exhaust extension that’s pointing up. It’s just gonna fill up with rainwater and stuff so do what they do for the exhaust and Wabasso heaters and diesel heaters, make sure there’s a little hole drilled at the bottom to drain out all of the unwanted water
There is no pipe going through a wall and straight up. Not sure what you are seeing there.
Lovely how you don't skip tools used🎉
Thanks for reaching out Bonny! I appreciate that.
Enjoyed the video and shared your barn repair video links with our members here in Ontario, Canada.
Awesome! Thanks for that! I am finding out there is a lot of interest to restore and repair these beautiful buildings. It is great to know there are groups like yours helping to make a difference! Thanks again!
That is pretty cool that you learned all this. Been doing taps since 1996 a n$350 for 3/4" - 2" awesome dude most people get it wrong and thats bad,
and btw troday I did a 12"x12' Ductile tap i nneed to do YT videos?
Thanks buddy! I appreciate the kindness and support! Heck yeah, you should do a video of the 12” ductile tap!
Thanks!!! I haven't seen in any of the videos how much the greenhouse measures in total (width and length) and how often you put in the PVC pipes Well, the length is stated in one video, which is 13'
Hi Marco! We put the rebar in on 4’ centers. You can make the length however long you want, you just have to have a piece of plastic long enough to cover it. In our case, the house is approximately 50’ long to match the rest of our garden plots. When the 20’ PVC pipes bends it ends up being about 13 feet wide and about 7-8’ tall in the middle. The sides are shorter 5-6’ tall and i hit my head when i walk along the outer two rows. Ouch! Hope this helps you get yours up and running!!!
Always tape then dope!! - your friendly neighborhood plumber 🧑🔧 I’m sure there’s a million comments already but hey, I can’t not comment 🤓
A great plumber showed me this method long ago, and I have never done it any other way, nor have the fittings ever leaked. 🤷 Plus, I like not having the tape run around the threads trying to get it to bind. With the dope applied first, the tape sticks like glue. Try it, you’ll like it!
Never heard it called a coupon always heard it called a slug
I like slug better!
Whats that tape you wrapped around water hydrant?
It’s a 10 mil pipe wrap tape. Usually comes in a 2” x 100’ roll. You can find them in your plumbing supply store. I have seen it used on gas lines or galvanized plumbing pipe. It helps protect the steel from any moisture and corrosion and helps with the longevity of the system.
Bro fords fittings would have saved you so much time and end result is way better, if is a barb fitting you will be digging it out few years later, at least what the salesman from hd fowler said
Once upon a time I watched a ford fitting blow apart a couple days after a supposed pro installed it. Never had an issue with a barbed fitting. Maybe the guy didn’t get it installed right. Sounds like a good salesman!
@@BidwellCanyonFarmI believe it, maybe the installer went to tight?
Nicely done! Im in the process of installing one of these. Did you get an extension for outside to extend 4” beyond the structure or trailer? I am confused by the installation instructions stating that the exhausts needs to extend 4” beyond trailer. If so, I would need some 6ft of straight exhaust pipe to achieve the 4” clearance. Initially I was assuming that the exhaust can be anywhere underneath the trailer, maybe I’m wrong? Anyways nice job! Love your page & have been watching along for many years!
Hi there! Yes. I bought two extensions. one with an elbow and one straight piece. Both were 12” long and i cut them to get exactly where i wanted them. I put a link in the description to the parts i used.
Why would you burry the pipe then check for leaks?
Shading the trench with 2-4” of sand over the pipe helps keep the pipe right where you want it. In the off chance you had a faulty stretch of pipe it would be easy to see a leak as the sand would almost instantly show up as a darker, wet spot. A pressure test before backfilling can also be done to ensure no leaks are present.
although the quality is good, it looks worth only 50 USD or so. the extra 1950 USD is just a sort of opportunity cost, worth it only if hot tapping is worth that much in a particular situation.
I feel like the material is worth a bit more than $50. Maybe there is $350 worth of materials in this kit. But you’re absolutely right…it is a special tool for a special purpose, and they can charge whatever they want for it!
Can you put a link for the 90-degree elbow into the drain valve please? Thank you!

@@BidwellCanyonFarm Thank you for getting back to me. I will email you by Monday 6/24
wow. that is the pressyr on the pipe?? love from a pipe layr from sweden!!!!! nice!!
Hey Bjorn! I didn’t measure the pressure, but if i had to guess it was only about 15-20 psi at this point in the line. (It gains more pressure down the hill from where this fitting was installed.) I had to install a booster pump to increase the pressure in the cabin to 50 psi. 🤙
Wow I haven’t looked into it yet but my mind is blown and I was thinking it would be much cheaper for a tiny home. If you could go back in time before building it and knowing how expensive it would come out to be, would you…… buy a new RV? I’ve been looking at them for a few years and it’s shocking how nice some of them are inside, the layout on some is amazing and makes it feel like a home and you can get them either 2 or 3 years old or brand spanking new for 30k for the super awesome ones or 20k for a really nice brand new one just not with the awesome layout and really basic looking, not like “homey” inside but maybe with putting personal items inside that feeling would change…… HONEST answer please ❤ awesome just on the tiny home!!!
❤
I like you 😻

I’m ordering this exact unit for my RV. How is it so far ? Thanks for sharing it.
It is the best! No problems at all. Works exactly how i hoped!
That’s great! I have talked a couple of times with them and they are very helpful and friendly. But there is not much information or support about their units in the web.
It's the best gardening video ever! ☝️
Thanks a bunch!!! We appreciate that!
Cool ❤
Thanks!
I was confused why you needed a hydrant in Bidwell Canyon which is near Oroville. Then I see you are near Fort Bidwell which is a totally different place.
And a lot colder!!!
Sickkkk
🙏
What is the point of the coupon in the drill bit?
There is a little piece of wire threaded through the bit that binds the piece of the pipe wall (coupon) cut by the hole saw. This keeps the coupon on the end of the bit and does not allow it into the plumbing system.
Jamming 🎉
and I hope ya like jammin’ too!
i water um --- i show my daughter um LOL
